Architecture and the Russian Avant-garde uses archive footage and computer graphics to illustrate how Russian Avant-garde art of the 1920s and 30s influenced the development of architecture in Russia both before and after the revolution. The film concentrates on such figures as Malevich, Tatlin and Melnikov. Shot entirely in Moscow the film offers a unique insight into the artistic milieu which was prevalent in this period in post-revolutionary Russia.
